Update on Wings’ World

Hey! I just wanted to let everyone know what’s currently going on with W’sW. I’m still writing ch.3 -slowly but surely- but my laptop caught a nasty virus I’m trying to get rid of. I’ve been told by the tech there’s a big chance I’ll lose all the content on my C drive. The bad news is I’ll have to reinstall all the games and download the custom content On the brighter side, which I’m concentrating very hard on, all the writing -even what I have on ch.3- is savely stored away in my D drive. This means it’s going to be a bit longer than I expected to release ch.3. I plan on sticking with Wings’ World until the end, so I will get things back on track as soon as I get my laptop. Just thought you all should know.

In the middle of all this, I’m very excited to report I’ve started writing a totally different kind of story. I’m still deciding if I should post it as a short story or begin a new series. I think is too early in the planning and writing process to say. I do this weird thing where I ask the characters what should I do when I feel lost as to what comes next in a story. If their answer makes any sense, then I know I’m doing a good job and listen to what they want. Come on, it is their story and I never said I was sane! Seriously now, characters are very real to me, were they not I could never bother to care about them in he first place.

This new story’s working tittle is A Vampire Fairy Tale. It’s in the young adult category, and I honestly never saw myself doing this, but I was suddenly inspired and didn’t give it a second thought. I sort of already wrote a similar short story in my sophmore year of high school -which was awhile ago- but this time around it has all the supernatural elements I’ve come to love from urban fantasy. I’m hopelessly in love with this genre :O

I promise this is not another version of Twilight.

Maybe I’ll work on a teaser to get some reactions. Anyway, I still have to wait for my laptop’s return to do so. Meanwhile, I’m doing everything -even posting this- through my wonderful iPhone I couldn’t live without.
