I’m Still Alive!!!
I’m not even sure anyone is reading this anymore, but my page stats suggest some of you are. To those of you who haven’t given up on me completely, thank you. Honestly, I kind of gave up on the sims 2 after the virus. I reinstalled most of the games in my laptop and saved some of the cc I had, but I haven’t been motivated enough to finish this tedious process. Wings’ World is obviously on hiatus—and it’s been for a while—still, I haven’t stopped writing. The worst thing is if I go back to it I’d have to remake all the characters and some of the settings from scratch. I know I should’ve at least saved the sims in bodyshop, but I didn’t :-( The truth is, even though I love writing fiction by itself I’m a very visual person. There’s something special about seeing your characters come to life as you’ve imagined them and set them in the perfect place and the perfect mood for the story to unfold. So much so, that if I could draw worth something I would love to do manga or even comics—sadly I suck at it. For this reason I’m considering maybe going back to using the game for my stories. It’s really nice to get feedback from readers about what I come up with and I’ve missed that a lot since I’ve been gone. It also pushes me to write with a sort of deadline in mind, because sometimes otherwise I might spend any amount of days without doing it. I guess what I’m trying to say is:
I’m sorry for the disappearing act and I’ll be posting some ideas soon for feedback to finally decide what I’ll do.
